Daisy

1.

I wear Marc Jacobs’ Daisy perfume every. single. day. You would think I would get sick of it by now (after wearing it for about 10 years), but it’s still my go-to favorite.

I’m not much of an adventuresome person when it comes to perfumes. I remember all of my terrible middle school scents that probably made me smell like a sticky, sweet cupcake. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve tended to stick to just one scent. And one scent only. It’s not that I don’t like other perfumes, it’s just now that I’ve found my favorite I’m completely biased. Daisy is light and flirty, while never turning too sweet or spicy. I don’t know how Marc Jacobs does it, but it sure does make me continuously happy every day! Do you have a go-to scent?

Friday Favorites

We’ve had another go of the wintry mix in the D.C. area. Good news: no school. Bad news: we’ll be in school until August. I’m kidding of course, and I’ve really enjoyed these last two snow days. My roommate Katie has her friend, Anna, coming into town so I’m excited to spend Valentine’s Day with my girl friends. Hopefully the snow won’t impact our plans too much!

I’m loving the detail on these sleeves. Damsel in Dior styles some seriously awesome outfits! I would love this tee in the spring and summer to wear to work and weekends! The embellishment is so lovely!

This color blocked coat is to die for. The white and navy pairing is my favorite!

just perfect.

I love wine – largely in part to my parents…thanks mom and dad – and my apartment is never lacking in the wine department. We may not have milk on a daily basis, but I assure you we’ll have wine! (Doesn’t everybody live like this??) I think this wine rack is great for storing wine and glasses….but it only holds three bottles?!

This dress was one of my favorites on The Bachelor this season. I can’t remember which girl wore it, but I feel in love. I love the bright pink color and the gold straps. Just amazing!

Last week I posted about delicate rings, but I’m also loving delicate bracelets too! This one in particular is great because it’s gold and has a pearl :)

Valentine’s Lace

1.

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow and even if you don’t have any plans it’s an excuse to get dressed up and celebrate! I love this lace top from LOFT. It’s very feminine and flirty – perfect for Valentine’s Day! The lace cut out shows a little bit of skin, however it still looks classy and sophisticated. I would wear this top with jeans (blue or black) or a fun black skirt. I’m also loving this messy side braid they styled with the shirt. Add some natural make up, pair it with some black booties, and this becomes the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit!

Stay Warm!

Pop of Pink

This week leading up to Valentine’s Day I’m bringing you all things pink, red, and white. Some are my personal favorites, some are on my wish list, but all are perfect Valentine’s Day gifts (for yourself!)

A girl has got to treat herself, right?

This Marc Jacobs bag is my all time favorite. I have it in black, but love this pop of pink color too! When I’m out and about the last thing I want to carry around is a heavy bag on my shoulder. This bag is the ideal size for a crossbody. It’s small, but fits just enough without weighing you down. It’s the perfect purse to dress an outfit up or down :)
